That is a good question.  Trac was useful back when we (lfs and clfs) 
started using it, but github does do a lot of the same functionality.  
We could keep trac for the wiki/website functionality (or not, just have 
a basic site like lfs has), and linking to compiled books.  Anyone else 
have thoughts?

I think that would be ideal.  The older git setup required me or someone 
manually adding git access and so created a barrier to entry for anyone 
wanting to contribute.

Glad to help!  I still need to setup the book compiling stuffs but I 
think we are getting closer.

I believe I have the still used git repos imported into github now, with 
branches and tags.  If I boned anything up, or someone needs additional 
access please let me know.
