I was just reading through the master changelog ;

[Jim] - Fixed LZMA from Ticket #198. LZMA utilizes C++ library. By standardsit stays in /usr/lib. So we have modified our build to place LZMA in /usr/bin and not
          /bin.
...more recently ;

February 21, 2009[Jim] - LZMA Utils is now XZ Utils. Upgraded package
          to 4.999.8beta.
In chapter 9.73/74 we build XZ-utils with --prefix=/usr , install the binaries
into /usr/bin, and then move them into /bin - is this correct? (I do realize
this is aligned with the build placing the binaries in /usr/bin..but then..why
move them into /bin?.....just curious)

Also, it might not be immediately apparent (to a new or first time CLFS
exponent) how to unpack a .lzma archive [ie; autoconf & automake] -
easier to deduce when the package was named LZMA-Utils, not so
obvious now with the revised package name. I was wondering if some
text should be added somewhere to clarify such things...
