<p>Hello!</p>
<p>Thanks for the info. Interesting, this is the first I've heard
of anyone having issues resolving clfs.org. There was a
maintenance from Dec 13-14 on the openstack system that clfs.org
is hosted on, but otherwise systems should be all working
normally.</p>
<p>I couldn't reproduce the nameservers being ns*.clfs.org:</p>
<p>justin@iroh:~$ dig +short NS clfs.org<br>
ns3.dreamhost.com.<br>
ns1.dreamhost.com.<br>
ns2.dreamhost.com.</p>
<p>But checking the whois info, it does seem to have some old
entries in there. I've updated them now, so in the next 4-24
hours whois should have proper entries. If you see further issues
after that please let me know!</p>

<div>Hi there,<br>
<br>
</div>
There are continuous troubles with the <a
href="http://clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a>
domain that prevents accessing the <a
href="http://trac.clfs.org/" moz-do-not-send="true">http://trac.clfs.org/</a>
web site and any other <a href="http://clfs.org"
moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a> related host.
Sometimes it works and *.<a href="http://clfs.org"
moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a> hostnames are
resolved but in 80% of tries they can't be resolved<br>
<br>
% host <a href="http://clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a><br>

Maybe this problem relates to the following domain
misconfiguration:<br>
<br>
% whois <a href="http://clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a>
| grep "Name Server"<br>
Name Server: <a href="http://NS1.CLFS.ORG"
moz-do-not-send="true">NS1.CLFS.ORG</a><br>
Name Server: <a href="http://NS2.CLFS.ORG"
moz-do-not-send="true">NS2.CLFS.ORG</a><br>
Name Server: <a href="http://NS3.CLFS.ORG"
moz-do-not-send="true">NS3.CLFS.ORG</a><br>
<br>
</div>
But actually none of those name servers exists:<br>
<br>
% host <a href="http://ns1.clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">ns1.clfs.org</a>
8.8.8.8<br>

Host <a href="http://ns1.clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">ns1.clfs.org</a>
not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)<br>
<br>
</div>
and the right name servers of this domain are different:<br>
<div><br>
% host -t NS <a href="http://clfs.org" moz-do-not-send="true">clfs.org</a>
