Yes, Fix your path. /cross-tools/bin:/bin:/usr/bin should be all you
have. Having /tools/bin in your path is going to a disaster. You're
problem is probably due to the fact that you're attempting to link with
the binutils in /tools rather then the binutils in /cross-tools, which
has the proper search paths.
