Hello, clfs world!

I am building clfs.

   1. After i issued either tar zjxvf binutils-2.19.tar.bz2 or tar zxvf
   binutils-2.19.tar.gz i got something like

.................................................................
binutils-2.19/gas/config/tc-iq2000.c
binutils-2.19/gas/config/tc-iq2000.h
binutils-2.19/gas/config/tc-m32c.c
binutils-2.19/gas/config/tc-m32c.h
binutils-2.19/gas/config/tc-m32r.c

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
.........................................................................
so i thought the files are not broken files. They maybe lack something.

2 Then i downloaded the binutils-2.19.tar.gz.sig. I still do not know how
to use it afer reading the website
http://www.dewinter.com/gnupg_howto/english/GPGMiniHowto-3.html

Do they lack anyting like digital signature ? how could i tar the
filecorrectly ?

    Thanks!!
