[Clfs-support] libtool error on x86_64 multi

hi all,

can anybody give a hint about this error:

dialog-1.1-20080316$ make
/usr/bin/libtool  --mode=compile gcc -m32 -g -O2  
-I/usr/include/ncurses  -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64  
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" -c trace.c
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: compile: specify a tag with `--tag'
make: *** [trace.lo] error 1

build with -m64 goes fine...?
