Yes, I also figured out.

Wel sorry for the thinking it is XGL related, it was a problem with setting
the include path.

The makefile looks at the already installed glcore.h (by the glproto 
package),
and it should look at the glcore.h in de mesa source.

I've solved it with setting the CPPFLAGS var as I've described earlier.
I think it's strange it looks like I'm the only one having this problem...
