[Clfs-dev] Embedded - Pull Request - Lots of upgrades

Could someone with commit access please pull a bunch of changes I've
made to the Embedded book?  Pull request info below.

This does not include my removal of the bootloaders, kernel build, or
removal of WRT.  I will send separate pull requests for those things
after I let my messages to the list receive feedback for a little
longer.
