Good Afternoon,
Not blind at all. I must be since I missed the prior discussion on the subject. It looks like LFS is taken a different approach to limits.h in 7.4-rc1 - http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/7.4-rc1/chapter05/gcc-pass2.html. they do the following:
cat gcc/limitx.h gcc/glimits.h gcc/limity.h > \
  `dirname $($LFS_TGT-gcc -print-libgcc-file-name)`/include-fixed/limits.h
